Notes from Wildflower:

During harvest we made a quick trip up to Newcastle to collect the skins directly following Tim’s pressing, brought them back to Marrickville and soaked them for six months on 100% aged Gold brewed with regenerative organic grains wholly fermented by a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from native flowers in NSW.

This extended maceration lends the beer both tannin and colour from this unique variety. A sparkling red (ale) fit for the Christmas table.

Meesh's tasting notes: A visually incredible beer. The nose is rich candied fruit - currant, blackberry and plum, with a gentle floral character. The fruit weight on the palate makes it feel almost sweet until you're hit with the cleansing tannin on the finish. The kind of beer you'd feed your Auntie who claims she doesn't like beer
